Jana Šrejma Kačírková

Jana Srejma Kacirkova was born in České Budějovice. In 2006, she graduated at the Prague Conservatoire singing the role of Vitellia in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito. She regularly works privately with the famous Czech soprano Libuse Domaninska. She participated in the A. Dvořák’s vocal competition and won the fourth prize. Following engagements then included the role of Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. One year later, she won the second prize in the same vocal competition and also received a special prize for her interpretation of the aria of the Queen of the Night. She performed Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute at the National Theater in Ostrava. In summer 2008 she sang Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the National Theater in Prague. Jana Kacirkova is a regular guest of The National Moravian-Silesian Theater in Ostrava where she performed Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Zerbinetta in Ariadne on Naxos, Mara in La Lupa by Marco Tutino, Nedda in Pagliacci and Marguerite in Faust by Charles Gounod. In summer 2008 she participated at the Festival in Ercolano and performed the role of Elisetta in The Secret Marriage by Cimarosa.
