A family of four set out for a winter holiday in the mountains. The sparkling snow and sun promise nothing but a great time. After an exhilarating day of skiing, they are relaxing on a restaurant terrace when, suddenly, they notice an avalanche heading straight for them. The mother instinctively tries to save the children, while the father grabs his phone and runs away. The avalanche is controlled, and nothing actually happens... except that nothing will ever be the same again.
Can one come to terms with such a failure? And is a person truly responsible for their instinctive reactions?
