In this site-specific and engagingly interactive production, we explore disinformation, the mechanisms of manipulation, and questions of guilt and responsibility.
The age-old questions of guilt and responsibility are also essential to the producers, which is why they decided to incorporate a choice into the structure of the performance that will determine the fate of the main character. However, this should not disturb the personal comfort of the audience, so the production is also suitable for introverted viewers.
"We wanted to explore the theme of manipulation through a specific story and characters, so we wrote a play about the heir to a giant factory whose activities are damaging the climate. The new owner of the company, played by Dan Kranich, must understand the ecosystem of its functioning and the mechanisms of communication. At the same time, he finds himself in a conflict between personal and public interests," say the main creators of the production, Lenka Dombrovská and Tomáš Loužný.
The production is part of the South Specific festival program.
