Passers-by are a so-called narrative space, i.e., an art installation without actors that tells a story on its own. This particular installation is based on a sociological survey conducted by Czech Radio entitled Divided by Freedom, and features six miniature apartments representing six Czech social classes, which you can explore: open all the cupboards, read old letters, and see what is hidden where. The more thoroughly you explore each apartment, the more you will learn about the life of the person who lives there. You can decide for yourself which stories you will just skim through and which you will try to unravel in every detail.
The production is part of the South Specific festival program.
