A site-specific summer production dedicated to Jiří Hrzán – an iconic Czech actor who captivated audiences in the 1970s with his energy, charisma, and unbridled desire to push boundaries. Hrzán's passion for heights, risk, and free movement becomes not only a visual motif of the production, but also the key to a deeper understanding of his personality.
The production combines theatrical action with an environment that reflects Hrzán's desire to rise higher – literally and symbolically. Through physical theater, original texts, archival materials, and music, we will explore who Jiří Hrzán really was: a comedian, an adventurer, a romantic, or an eternal outsider? Our production will not only be a tribute, but also a lively search for answers to the questions that his
story left open.
The production is part of the South Specific festival program.
