An image in motion, motion in space
Premiere 30. 4. 2027
A choreographic kaleidoscope comes to life in a dance production inspired by the stories of famous pop art personalities who became icons of the American visual arts at the end of the 20th century.
The concept of this dance project is based on the adaptable, multi scenic space of the Riding Hall at Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle, where we encounter the worlds of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Jean Michel Basquiat. The distinctive work of these artists intertwines with the environment, offering the audience a unique glimpse behind the scenes of pop art — into the art itself, the lives of the artists, and their fictional mutual ties and relationships. This is all presented in a striking choreographic and visual composition.
The exceptional atmosphere of this venue, home to the Aleš South Bohemian Gallery, opens a new dialogue between dance and visual art and promises audiences an unforgettable experience.
